These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for providing Oshi Life (the “App”) and the rights and obligations between the operator and users regarding use of the App. By using the App, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Users may use the App as a guest or by creating an account using supported authentication services such as Apple or Google. Users are responsible for managing their own accounts, and the operator assumes no responsibility for unauthorized use by third parties. If a user deletes their account, user data saved in the App will be deleted; however, cancellation of a paid plan must be performed separately through App Store subscription management.
Users are responsible for managing the oshis, events, expenses, goods, reports, images, and other data they register in the App. “Posted Content” means reports, text, hashtags, display names (nicknames), and all other information that users publish to the timeline by enabling sharing settings. Users represent and warrant that they have lawful rights to their Posted Content and that such content does not infringe any third-party rights.
Users grant the operator the right to use Posted Content free of charge, including displaying, reproducing, distributing, and storing it, to the extent necessary for providing, operating, and improving the App, displaying the timeline, performing backups, and preventing unauthorized use. Copyrights and other rights in Posted Content remain with the user or the legitimate rights holder.
Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the App.
Users may make their shared reports private or delete them. If the operator determines that Posted Content violates these Terms, receives a report of rights infringement or inappropriate posting, or otherwise deems it necessary for operation, the operator may hide or delete such Posted Content without prior notice to the user. The operator is not responsible for any damages incurred by the user as a result.
If you discover rights infringement, inappropriate content, nuisance behavior, or any other issue regarding Posted Content in the App, please contact us through the inquiry form listed in the Privacy Policy. The operator will review the received report and, as necessary, hide or delete the post or take other action.
Users post Posted Content at their own responsibility. If a dispute arises between a user and a third party in relation to Posted Content, the user must resolve it at their own expense and responsibility and must not cause any inconvenience to the operator.
The App offers a paid plan (Premium) that includes benefits such as expanded feature limits, expanded shared-report limits, image cloud backup, ad removal, and detailed reports. Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions, and fees, billing periods (monthly or yearly), availability of free trials, and other conditions are displayed on the in-app purchase screen. Payment is charged to the user’s Apple ID through the App Store when the purchase is confirmed. The subscription automatically renews and the same amount is charged unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal management and cancellation can be performed at any time after purchase from the App Store “Subscriptions” settings. Deleting an account or deleting the App alone does not cancel the subscription. Payments, renewals, refunds, and related matters are governed by Apple’s terms, and the operator assumes no responsibility for them.
The App may display advertisements from a third-party ad delivery provider (Google AdMob) to users who use the App for free. Information such as advertising identifiers may be used in connection with ad delivery, and details of such handling are set forth in the Privacy Policy. Ads are not displayed to users subscribed to the paid plan (Premium).
If the operator determines that it is necessary for operational or technical reasons, the operator may change the App’s content, features, terms of provision, free-plan limits, or Premium benefits, or suspend or terminate all or part of the App. Users will be notified of important changes by a reasonable method.
The operator does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, or other qualities of the App’s content or information obtained by users through the App. To the extent permitted by law, the operator assumes no responsibility for damages incurred by users through use of the App.
The operator may change these Terms by notifying users when the operator determines it necessary. If a user continues to use the App after the changes, the user is deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If any dispute arises in connection with the App, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the operator shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
